Supercars to watch out for in 2019
Most of us won’t ever get the opportunity to see, let alone drive a supercar, but if you’re like me it never stops me drooling over the latest press releases and dreaming that maybe one day, I will own my very own supercar. Of course, the reality is I probably never will, so instead here are 4 supercars that are new for 2019 for you to admire from afar.
Aston Martin DB11 Volante
This open top model is designed to be driven with the top down. It is of course beautifully designed both inside and out and boasts aluminium shift paddles, gorgeous interior leather and brushed metal accents that complement the inside. Performance wise, the 4.0 litre engine makes sure there’s plenty of power and with the choice of drive modes you can be sure that your driving mood can match your driving experience. Ferrari 488 Successor
Rumours are rife that Ferrari will be revealing a successor for the 488 at this year’s Motor Show in Geneva. Of course, nothing has been confirmed through the official channels, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the Ferrari stand will be packed out this year. Speculation has risen through many channels including the fact that the 488 has been around since 2015, hence a 4-5-year timeline to replace the older version is not out of the question.
Mercedes-Benz S 600 Pullman Guard
If you’re looking for a luxury limousine then look no further. Luxuriously spacious and outstandingly comfortable, the new S 600 Pullman Guard is the crème de la crème. This new model has an additional 115 centimetres of wheelbase hence why this model is so much more spacious but has been built and designed without compromising quality standards. The interior is full of detail and has been finished in fine woods and exquisite leather which of course you would expect. The special protection features have been enhanced once again with this latest model which will no doubt have heads of states, royalty and celebrities queuing at the door to get on the waiting list.
2019 Bugatti Chiron
So Bugatti have broken their own world record of having the fastest car with their very own Bugatti Chiron. Acceleration is 0-62mph in less than 2.5 seconds, 0-124mph in less than 6.5 seconds and a mind boggling 0-186mph in under 13.6 seconds. Bugatti have limited the top speed to 261mph, but they will be attempting to set the world record by hitting speeds of over 270mph. With these dizzying numbers it probably won’t surprise you to learn that the 100-litre fuel tank can be drained in 9 minutes at a constant top speed. I guess if you can afford a car of this superiority then refuelling every few minutes won’t be a problem to your wallet.
With the 2019 Geneva Motor Show (https://www.gims.swiss/) due to take place in just under a couple of weeks I’m pretty certain there’ll be a few more supercars that will hit the headlines as new models are revealed.
Of course if you are looking to buy a supercar you don’t have to a billionaire, there are plenty of used Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Aston Martins on the market that may just be within your budget. But make sure you do your research and talk to a specialist reputable dealer before buying a second-hand supercar.
